The Challenge

 

Revamping Stationhead's brand to prepare it to face new market requirements and investment opportunities, while improving the brand's performance in digital platforms in light of the launch of their new app. Additionally, showcasing how Stationhead gives people the ability to connect and express through music with live, interactive, personal broadcasting.

What we did

 

We redesigned Stationhead’s entire visual branding system, starting with its wordmark. We respected the original added emphasis in the term ON by giving it a different expansion compared to the rest of the letters. We also found dynamic ways to incorporate it, like a sticker version with a container, or as a mask to frame photographs. 


We were also inspired by effects used in music production such as reverb, echo, and distortion. Representations of what the sound would look like give Stationhead a distinctive and proprietary visual language. We customized the typography to highlight the letters O and N to coincide with their emphasis in the wordmark. This font also includes a set of bold and unexpected custom icons
