Bluebits
Own a bit, create a lot

The web3 paradigm has arisen and we’re ready to make a shift to finally own a bit to create a lot. Bluebits is the only financial community that unlocks opportunities by sponsoring projects and generating income for the owners from stock tokenization. We gave the apes blue bananas.

The Challenge

Bluebits approached Calendar to develop a strategy for communicating a groundbreaking financial proposal aimed at enabling the financial community to unlock opportunities through project sponsorship and income generation via stock tokenization. A significant aspect of this challenge was effectively conveying how the brand functions similarly to the stock market, while avoiding explicit reference to financial elements as "stocks."

What we did

Our approach revolved around the idea of owning a bit portior to earn a lot. To achieve this, we've introduced the notion of the ‘blue banana’ as a divisible element that can be distributed in bite-sized portions. When these portions come together, they yield something entirely new, creative, seemingly impossible, and novel.

The visual system exudes a youthful, approachable, and minimalist vibe. It is centered around the concept of 'creative collectors' who form the supportive community behind each project. Within this ecosystem, a diverse array of artistic expressions, encompassing digital art, films, series, and more, serves as an extensive catalog of limitless ideas. All of these creative endeavors are safeguarded and supported by the protective 'banana brackets' of Bluebits.

The Key

The unmistakable distinguishing feature of Bluebits is the iconic blue banana. This element takes center stage as the hero, the primary character of the brand. It is prominently featured in the logo, incorporated into the brackets within messaging, and is uniquely tailored, animated, and embraced by each project, evolving into the beloved mascot of the entire creator & backer community.
